Thanks to Mr Dog & Pony Himself, Sean Tucker… I’m diggin on these new tunes from Delta Spirit.

So my long time buddy / partner in crime Michael “Bruce Bruce” Limanti just had his 30th Birthday party, and we celebrated in style at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in the infamous “Pub 17″ which is normally restricted to players and founding members, but thanks to Bruce’s lovely girlfriend Steph we got the hook up! We also got to play The Stadium Course just 9 days after the The Players Championship, which is crazy. They hadn’t even taken down the bleachers yet so it was pretty cool. The Illustration above is from the Invitation I made for the party. Anytime I can illustrate one of my friends faces sticking out of a mascot costume I’m on it. And Bruce’s giant goatee made it even better. Then to add to the madness, Bruce’s brother Lance actually came dressed up in a Gopher/Beaver/Bear costume. The new “I Was a Teenage Anarchist – EP” is out a bit early but I am so stoked. The four song EP includes the tracks “I was a teenage anarchist”, “Rapid Decompression”, “One By One”, and Bitter Divisions”. I have always liked to think of Against Me! as our Generations mix of the Ramones and a little bit of Irish Whiskey and Rapid Decompression definitely helps my case. I love the Black and White live videos. If you have ever been to an Against Me show at Common Grounds in Gainesville that is pretty much dead on. Your Sweating even if your standing still. Keep it up guys, I can’t wait till the full album release. – TRON

So even though Halftone Def didn’t grace SXSW with our physical presence this year, we will be there in limited edition design. Our good buddy Dennis from Thought & Theory and currently HASHROCKET hit Halftone Def up to do a limited run poster for them to hand out to a select few at SXSW and The good Folks at CLIQSET also hit Halftone Def up about a month back to make a VOLTRON inspired shirt for them to hand out. We didn’t print these though thank gawd, as you can see they were pretty complex with lots of colors and they were a run of 200. But thanks to Dan @Vivid Images we got that part handled! No it wasn’t Travis Pastrana Driving, but that Just Happened!!! First Ever Monster Truck Back Flip went down at the 2010 Monster Jam in Jacksonville Saturday Night. Granted it wasn’t quite as big as the one Mr 199 tried on Nitro Circus but it was still really awesome! Thrillbillies FTW Yall. -TRON

So Kendrick and I took advantage last week of a 1/2 off sale upperplayground.com was having to benefit HAITI and got some Books, Threads, and a Belt Buckle at a great price. I was responsible and got books, the picture kind cause you know I can’t read, and Kidd some duds. Morning Breath Studios is one of my fav Design Duo’s of all time hailing from NY and Micheal Sieben just has one of the most original styles and sense of humor you will ever find. Plus both come from a skateboard background like myself so I can relate. Check them moth out if you can you won’t be disappointed!
